Have you tried the Bananza Burger from The Strand?

Strand's Bananza Burger is just a good ole fashioned hamburger!

In The Fifties, The Locklear Brothers had an idea; Build A Better Burger. In Gadsden, Duard Locklear called his The Paul Bunyan Burger. In Fort Payne, brother Jack’s burger was called The Bananza. Both were huge hits and a whole generation in Northeast Alabama grew up eating those hamburgers. Now, the spirit and the sizzle of the burgers is connecting to a new generation at The Strand Box Office Grill in Forth Payne. Heath Locklear has taken the “secret sauce” created by his uncles and he’s now spreading it over his own version of the famous sandwich.

The café itself is part of the story, too. Heath’s dad worked there as a boy when The Strand was the only theater in the small DeKalb county town. The Strand, the burger and the family are all a connection to the past, bringing back great memories and great hamburgers.
