Birmingham Restaurant Week and Birmingham Originals are pleased to announce Bham Nom Nom at, a website dedicated to promoting Birmingham-metro area restaurants operating during uncertain times related to COVID-19. With the mantra of “Keep Calm and Nom Nom, Birmingham!”, the website features a directory of independently owned restaurants and lists their website, to-go and delivery food and alcohol capabilities, Venmo or GoFundMe donation pages and link to purchase gift cards, if available.

Birmingham Restaurant Week and Birmingham Originals are at the forefront year-round supporting the city’s extraordinary restaurateurs and chefs and have banded together to help restaurants find a way to create revenue to help support their wait staff, chefs, kitchen help – and their families.

The Bham Nom Nom campaign was branded and created by Style Advertising who will work to promote this joint venture of Birmingham Restaurant Week and Birmingham Originals to the public. Birmingham Mountain Radio has signed on to offer complimentary advertising and will provide live radio interview segments. And, Tito’s Handmade Vodka has graciously committed funds for Bham Nom Nom’s promotional use as well.

Restaurants wanting to be added to the website can email or fill out the Google form here. Birmingham foodies are encouraged to stay up-to-date on all things Bham Nom Nom by using the hashtag – #BhamNomNom and following Birmingham Originals @bhamoriginals and Birmingham Restaurant Week @bhamrestweek. Graphics to be used for social media posts, stories and more can be found online here and are available for the public’s use.


Bham Nom Nom,  is pleased to announce the addition of a “Dine-In” feature to the website. As restaurants have begun to reopen for limited, on-premise dining on the patio and/or inside the restaurant following CDC guidelines, has now been updated with an “Open” icon next to any restaurant that has recently reopened its doors. The Now Open icon has been added to close to 70 restaurants and is updated daily.

Restaurants wanting to update their listing with information on if/when they will reopen can do so by emailing The website is updated on a daily basis as restaurants slowly reopen.



Established in 2010, Birmingham Restaurant Week is a 10-day culinary affair where local restaurants offer incentives for patrons to revisit their favorite restaurants or to experience new ones, celebrating the landmark eateries that helped make Birmingham’s food scene what it is today. Birmingham Restaurant Week gives chefs the opportunity to showcase how they’re feeding the city—from creating nationally-acclaimed dishes that feature locally-sourced ingredients to mentoring the next generation of culinary entrepreneurs.
