“Although it is in a limited capacity, we are thrilled to welcome back our programs and patrons to the facilities, said Montal Morton, president of Birmingham Park and Recreation Board. “We believe our families will respond favorably to these temporary adjustments and enjoy the return to their familiar recreation activities.”

You will still be able to enjoy many of your favorite activities, but may find certain forms of recreation will be limited due to a need to allow for social distancing. This would consist of wearing face coverings and other mandated safety practices—this includes operating at fifty-percent of capacity. It might be a good idea to call the venue that you plan on visiting prior to arrival for the latest information on hours of operation, safety guidelines, and scheduled activities.
