Brookwood Village holiday events are fun for the whole family!

The countdown to Christmas has begun! Brookwood Village is making the most of the lead up to Christmas Day and beyond with plenty of holiday activities that are fun for the whole family! Check out all the events going on a Brookwood Village below.

Salvation Army Angel Tree

  • Daily starting Nov. 15 – Dec. 7
  • Upper level, Macy’s wing, near Books-A-Million
  • Brookwood Village will once again partner with Birmingham Salvation Army and WBRC FOX6 News.
  • This is an exciting opportunity for residents to gather at the Village and assist families in need during the holidays.
  • Gifts can be returned to the tree prior to December 7 during the mall’s normal hours of operation.

Singing Santa’s Arrival Celebration

  • Friday, Nov. 22 5 – 9 p.m.
  • Brookwood Village Food Court
  • A fun-filled night of activities at Brookwood Village to kick off the holiday season.
  • Event will feature several family-friendly activities, including face painting, balloon twisting, glitter tattoo fairies, characters from Disney’s Frozen and Toy Story, arts and crafts and special musical performances.
  • Following his arrival at 6:30 p.m., Santa will be available for visits and photos daily through Christmas Eve.

Visits and Photos with Singing Santa

  • Daily starting Nov. 22 – Dec. 24
  • Brookwood Village Food Court
  • Singing Santa, a classic Birmingham tradition, will be available for photos and visits daily through Christmas Eve.
  • Visiting hours are posted online and at Santa’s location near the food court.

Red Cross Blood Drive

  • Friday, Nov. 29 (Black Friday) noon – 5 p.m.
  • Brookwood Village, Upper Level, West-End
  • Brookwood Village has partnered with the American Red Cross to host a community blood drive.
  • Walk-ins are welcome, and donations of all blood types are needed, especially O-Negative blood types.
  • Those who donate will receive a free long-sleeve t-shirt.

Claus & Paws – Pet Photos with Singing Santa

  • Every Monday, Dec. 2 – Dec. 16, 5 – 8 p.m.
  • Brookwood Village Food Court
  • Bring your furry friends (cats or dogs in a carrier or on a leash) for pet photos with Singing Santa.

Story Time with Singing Santa

  • Every Tuesday/Thursday, Dec. 3 – Dec. 19
  • Tuesdays at 11 a.m., Thursdays at 4 p.m.
  • Brookwood Village Food Court
  • Brookwood Village and Books-A-Million are partnering to bring you Story Time with Singing Santa, an event where Singing Santa will read a holiday-related children’s book in a personal, intimate setting.
  • The event is free to the public.

Sensory Santa

  • Tuesday, Dec. 3 and Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9-11 a.m.
  • Brookwood Village Food Court
  • Brookwood Village’s White Glove Santa event provides an opportunity for children with Autism and other disabilities to visit with Santa in a quiet, more intimate settings.
  • Free tickets will be available on Eventbrite.

 Holiday Art Crawl at the Village

  • Nov. 29 – Dec. 24
  • Brookwood Village
  • Brookwood Village will partner with Birmingham Art Crawl in hosting Holiday Art Crawl at the Village, a month-long event where shoppers can browse local artist pop-ups throughout Brookwood Village.
  • Local artists will showcase their unique handmade goods and works of art.

Deck the Ham

  • Dec. 1 – Dec. 31
  • Brookwood Village
  • Birmingham business windows transform into holiday-themed murals as Brookwood Village partners with Birmingham Art Crawl to bring you Deck the Ham, a contest where local artists paint holiday-themed murals on the windows around town.
  • The winning design will be selected by a panel of local artists and business owners, as well as, votes tallied from public Instagram accounts that us the hashtag #DeckTheHam.
  • Be sure to pose and post with your favorite mural. Voting consideration begins Dec. 1 and ends Dec. 31.
