Filter Coffee Parlor Matcha Latte and new spring menu!

Filter – Coffee Parlor gave us a sneak peek at their new spring menu, including an up close and personal look at how they make their new "Matcha Latte"!

Filter – Coffee Parlor, a community-based coffee shop located at 1927 11th Ave. S. offering premium coffees, teas and seasonal eats, is pleased to debut its new spring menu and patio seating.

Alongside its extensive menu of classic coffee and espresso beverages, Filter has expanded its menu to include pour over coffee options and specialty lattes featuring matcha, cereal milk and lavender-honey infused syrup. With the weather warming, guests will also be able to enjoy their hot or iced beverages on Filter’s new patio seating – six tables with chairs and umbrellas have been installed along the sidewalk in front of the storefront.

  • Matcha Latte: a wellness drink made with organic matcha and Milkadamia milk then topped with cinnamon
  • Matcha Shot: organic matcha with steamed milk
  • Honey Blossom: piccolo latte with lavender-honey infused syrup
  • Cereal Milk Latte: espresso with steamed, classic cereal milk featuring rotating cereal bases (currently Cinnamon Toast Crunch)
  • Pour Over Coffee: specially curated roasts for pour overs include:
    • Monteblaco (Columbia): notes of tangerine, cane sugar and tart cherry
    • San Roque (Costa Rica): notes of blackberry, lemon curd and vanilla
    • San Isidro (Guatemala): notes of peanut butter, milk chocolate and caramel

The coffee shop’s menu offers an array of hot and cold coffee and espresso beverages with Alabama roaster Prevail Union. The menu also offers locally made food items with vegan options, as well as a variety of milk alternatives, including oat milk, Milkadamia, soy milk and coconut milk. With two floors, the upper mezzanine of the coffee shop will serve as a space for gatherings, children’s activities, programming and other events for patrons of all ages.

Filter is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Complimentary parking is available in the lot behind the coffee shop.
