725 29th St S, Birmingham, Alabama 35233
Birmingham’s favorite pizza party is back! SliceFest, the city’s biggest food and music block party presented by Birmingham Bud, is set to take stage for the eighth year and we’ll be bringing the house down like we always do. You know the drill – pizza, music, beer and more – all in Slice Birmingham’s front yard on 29th St. S. in the Lakeview district. Come groove with the music and get your pizza fill with us Saturday, June 1 starting at 2 p.m. Event proceeds will again benefit the SUKI Foundation.
This year, SliceFest is turning back to the earliest days of its youth and drawing from its humble block party beginnings – it’s all about shutting down the streets with pizza, beer and music! With that in mind, SliceFest 2019 welcomes Yacht Rock Revue, Magic City Hippies, CBDB, Stooges Brass Band and Bailey Ingle to the big stage. Between sets, local Lakeview talent DJ PURDY will keep the party going. From 70s and 80s tribute music, hip-hop covers and pop originals to progressive rock jams, New Orleans’ brass sounds and country-pop rhythms, this year’s lineup returns SliceFest to its roots.
