You can tell summer is in full swing when farmer’s markets and grocery stores start selling colorful summer berries. From strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries, these delicious berry beauties take over the fruit selection and it’s grand.
But, berries aren’t just for healthy snacking. Incorporate some of your favorite berries into this this fun, fruity and festive cocktail from Cointreau called the Frozen Berries Margarita at your next socially distanced barbecues this summer. Or just make it for yourself. No judgement here!
Nearly 7 in 10 (69%) of respondents said they enjoy frozen cocktails in the summer, with more than half (56%) agreeing frozen cocktails make them feel like they are on vacation – even from home, according to a censuswide study commissioned by Cointreau.
Here’s how to make the Frozen Berries Margarita:
Ingredients:
- 1 oz Cointreau
- 2 oz Tequila
- 75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- .25 oz Simple Syrup
- 1/2 cup of Frozen Berries
- 3-5 Ice Cubes
2-Step Directions:
- Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender and blend to combine.
- Pour into a margarita glass and garnish with fruit and or lime wheels.
