Little Savannah Restaurant and Bar closes
The Facebook page for Little Savannah shared the post from Chef Clifton Holt that says:
It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that we announce the closure of Little Savannah Restaurant & Bar.
The spirit and essence of the dream that was Little Savannah Restaurant is no longer sustainable. Our realization of this has left us shocked, but our goal is to exit thoughtfully, graciously and carefully.
We are proud to have shared so many wonderful times at Little Savannah and are grateful for the moments shared together, breaking bread and raising a glass.
As the future holds much uncertainty, we hope to relocate and reopen very soon. In the meantime, we will continue offering in-home cooking classes and private dinners, along with catering.
We give thanks to everyone who contributed to the life of LIttle Savannah Restaurant & Bar through out our 17 years in Forest Park Village.

Reopening in the future?
The somber post alludes to a somewhat hopeful return with the goal of relocating and reopening very soon. Hopefully one of Birmingham’s best restaurants will find a way to reopen in the near future and we can all go back to enjoying the creative and delicious Southern cuisine that Little Savannah is famous for.
