Birmingham brunch lovers rejoice! New Orleans-based restaurant Ruby Sunshine will open and begin serving all-day brunch on August 5 in Birmingham’s Edgewood Station.
Located at 1017 Oxmoor Road, Ruby Sunshine will offer interpretations of New Orleans-style brunch classics like Bananas Foster Pain Perdu, Eggs Cochon Benedict and White Chocolate Bread Pudding Pancakes, as well as eye-opening cocktails that can be enjoyed in a vibrant and inviting atmosphere complete with indoor and outdoor seating.
The restaurant, which will be the third Ruby Sunshine location to open across the Southeast this year, is the latest concept from Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group; the collective behind the acclaimed New Orleans-based eatery Ruby Slipper Café.
In preparation for the opening, the restaurant is now hiring for front-of-house and back-of-house positions. The eatery also has plans to hold a grand opening celebration for members of the community in late August.
Ruby Sunshine will be open Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
