The 2021 outdoor market will follow updated COVID safety protocols (see more on that below), and open with 60 farmers, food producers and artisans, set up in tents 6’ apart, in the Dr. Pepper parking lot on 2nd Ave. between 28th and 29th Streets, and 29th Street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenue South.
Farmers will be offering beautiful and delicious strawberries, asparagus, greenhouse tomatoes, spring onions and cut flowers. Also available will be lettuces and leafy greens, mushrooms, carrots, farm-fresh eggs, meats, cheeses and honey.
The city’s top bakers will have trays of artisan breads and pastries.
Ready-to-eat favorites like breakfast burritos and sausage biscuits can be enjoyed with coffee, tea or a freshly-squeezed juice.
From healthy salads and gluten-free snacks to Thai street food, cakes, cookies, locally made candy and frozen treats, shoppers can choose from a wide selection of the tastiest prepared local foods.
Visitors can also browse the tents of 18 different artisans and makers with hand-crafted items to freshen home and wardrobe – soap, candles, pottery, glass, pepper grinders, jewelry, apparel and art.
