Molly Ringwalds at Iron City

The Molly Ringwalds are not just another “cover” band. They are The World’s Greatest 80’s Experience. Hailing from Sheffield, England, this legendary quintet has been able to combine their individual and very formidable talents to create the true essence of the most radical decade to ever be called “The 80’s.” This is an all ages show.
The Beginning: Carlos Conducts Beethoven's First Symphony

Join the ASO as they begin a journey through all nine Beethoven symphonies, starting with the groundbreaking first symphony. The program also features Schubert’s final completed symphony, aptly nicknamed The Great.

- Ludwig van Beethoven: Symphony No. 1
- Franz Schubert: Symphony No. 9, The Great
Introduction to Botany - The Science of Plants
COST: Members $85| Non-Members $95
TIME: Sat Jan 12 from 9am-5pm
WHERE: Birmingham Botanical Gardens
This class will introduce participants to the fundamental concepts of botany, including plant tissues, anatomy of the major vegetative and reproductive structures of the plant body, plant habitats, basic botanical terminology through the use of a key, and a discussion of Alabama plant diversity. After the classroom portion of this class, we will spend time in The Gardens to explore the physiology and diversity of the plants around us.
Magic Moments Magic Show
COST: Adults – $30/Kids – $25/Family Four Pack – $100
TIME: Sun Jan 13 from 2-5pm
WHERE: The Alabama Theatre
The Alabama Theatre is hosting a magic show for the whole family! Start in the lobby where you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy up close magic, face painting, balloon art and more. Grab your snacks and drinks and head into the theater where magician David Garrard will wow you with a show you’ll never forget!
