Criss Smiley talks about their virtual wine tasting happening this Saturday at 6:30pm.
Aiming to bring some normalcy back to the current situation, Smiley’s Brothers Specialty Foods in Pelham decided to create a virtual wine tasting event in March and after a successful event is back to host another virtual wine tasting this Saturday, April 18.
Virtual Wine Tasting
Setting out to make it easy and complying with the shelter in place order was key. Owner Criss Smiley and his team have selected three wines for the virtual tasting event. Each patron will purchase the three-bottle-bundle at $55 and pick up before Saturday night. Then all you do is go to Smiley Brothers Facebook page at 6:30 pm Saturday night to join in as some of the team taste and talk about each varietal.
This weekend’s wines are:
- A White Bordeaux
- A Rosé of Pinot Noir
- A Pinot Noir
There will also be offering a premium add on of additional Pinot Noir to purchase at $60. Also you can add on a cheese platter that will feature an assortment of cheese, grapes, and Smiley Brother’s famous tomato jam, for an additional $15. Other items, including their freshly cut steaks and family meals will also be available through curbside pick-up.
